Careers Cloud & DevOps
Platform Engineer
Own pipelines, infrastructure as code and deploys that roll back — across client accounts we do not own.
Full-time Remote Anywhere in Nepal

The job
We work inside our clients’ cloud accounts, under their constraints, with their compliance people in the room. That rules out the comfortable version of this job: there is no house standard you get to impose, and the infrastructure has to be legible to the team that inherits it.
You would be the person who makes a deploy boring. Pipelines that fail early and honestly, infrastructure described in code and reviewed like code, and a rollback path that has actually been used rather than documented.
What you would be doing
- Describe infrastructure in code, in the client’s repository, reviewed by the client’s engineers.
- Build pipelines that fail fast and say why — a red build nobody can diagnose is a broken build twice.
- Make rollback a rehearsed path rather than an emergency, and prove it on a schedule.
- Set up the observability before the incident, and write the runbook while the system is still fresh.
- Keep secrets out of everything, including logs, including the ones you added while debugging.
What we need from you
Four or five things, not fifteen. A long list filters out the people who read it honestly and keeps the ones who do not.
- You have run production infrastructure that other people depended on, and been on call for it.
- Terraform or an equivalent, used on a system with more than one environment.
- You are fluent in containers and in the CI system underneath them, not just in the YAML.
- You can explain a cloud bill line by line and reduce it without breaking anything.
What would help, and is not required
- You have migrated a system between providers, or off one, and know what the plan missed.
- Kubernetes at a scale where it was the right answer, and the judgement to say when it is not.
- You have written a post-incident review that changed how a team worked.
What you would work with
- Terraform
- Docker
- GitHub Actions
- AWS
- Kubernetes
- Grafana
- Linux
It takes about ten minutes and goes to a person, not to an applicant tracking system. You will hear back either way.
