Our mission
Everything we make belongs to you from the first day — the code, the accounts it runs in, and the notes explaining how it works. We build it so your own people could take it over tomorrow, and then we stay available for the years when you would rather they did not have to.
Our vision
A lot of what we have made carries another company’s name on it. We are not complaining — it taught us more than any other work could have. But we would like the people coming up behind us to be able to put their own name on what they build, and be chosen for it.
How we work
Every company page has this section, and most of them list qualities anyone could claim. These are five things that actually happen on your project, and you can hold us to each of them.
Six months later nobody remembers why something was decided a particular way. We record the reason beside the work, so whoever picks it up next — our team or yours — is not guessing, and the same problem does not get solved twice.
Checking that software works when everything goes to plan is the easy half. We check the other half too: bad data, a payment that fails halfway, two people editing the same thing at once. That is where real systems break.
Every example in the documentation we hand you is run automatically. If one stops working, our build stops too. Instructions that are quietly out of date are worse than none at all, because people trust them.
When we tell you something got faster or cheaper to run, there is a measurement behind it, produced by the system itself rather than typed into a slide. If we have not measured something, we say so.
Rules that live in people’s heads slip in the first busy week. Ours stop work from being released at all, so the quality of what you get does not depend on who happened to be paying attention that day.

No account manager in between. The engineers who plan your project are the ones who write it, so questions get a real answer in the same conversation instead of being taken away and relayed back.
What is included, what is not, and what we are assuming about your business — written down and agreed first. When something turns out differently, and it usually does, it becomes a conversation rather than an invoice.
Your code, in your accounts, from the first day. Nothing is held back as leverage and nothing is licensed to you. If you ever want to work with somebody else, you can, and nothing stops working.
The website, the mobile app, the system behind them and the hosting underneath. One team answerable for all of it, so nothing sits for a fortnight in the gap between two suppliers blaming each other.
Not a progress bar or a percentage. A version you can open and use, and a short written update on what changed. If something is heading the wrong way, you find out while it is still cheap to change.
Support, changes and honest advice after launch. The handover notes are written as we go rather than assembled the week we leave, so your own team can take the reins whenever you decide to.
Who we are
A lot of our work has been built inside other companies’ systems, under their names and to their standards. It is an unusual way to learn, and it makes you careful about the parts nobody looks at until something breaks — the backup that has to actually restore, the error message somebody will read at two in the morning, the step that has to be undoable.
We are a small studio and we intend to stay one that answers its own phone. The people who plan your project are the people who build it, and there is nobody in between whose job is to keep you at arm’s length.
